El Niepoort 10 Years Old Tawny guarda toda la esencia de un Oporto que ha envejecido durante una década en pequeñas barricas de madera. Las principales características de este oporto rojizo son la complejidad de aromas, la frescura y un bouquet persistente y refinado. En boca, una explosión de aromas de naranja, limón, notas de caramelo e incluso miel. Este oporto es el resultado de la mezcla de diferentes vinos con un promedio de edades de 10 años.

The NV 10 Year Old Tawny Port was bottled in 2015 with a long cork. This is a lovely 10 Year Tawny, elegant in the mid-palate, but complex, precise and focused. There's a bit of a bite on the finish, giving it some length to go with the flavor. The next day it was more about power, with considerable intensity of old-tawny flavor as well, more than I normally see in a 10 Year Old. This is a fine one for the category. It showed best around 56 degrees Fahrenheit. Don't drink it too warm. Pricing was not available when this was written. - Mark Squires.

La compañía fue fundada en 1842 por el holandés Eduard Kebe. En 1858, coincidiendo con su muerte, se cambió el nombre por el de Niepoort.
very nice, expensive but worth it if you are a fan of Oportos. I luv them all, but this one is especially lovely.
