This is the first blending of this Champagne. From a base wine of 2013, there are seven vintages married into the taste. It is a beautifully mature wine, keeping fresh crispness and a citrus flavor while also having this yeast and spice flavor to balance. Drink now.
Pale golden yellow, silver reflections, fine, lively mousse. Nuances of meadow herbs and fresh yellow apple, a hint of biscuit and orange zest. Juicy, elegant, white apple, fresh acidity, lemony touch, a hint of nougat caramel on the finish, fine roasted aromas and ripe apricots on the aftertaste.
Nicely complex aromas here, from dried apples, peaches and pears to candied citrus and brioche. It’s fruity, soft and rounded on the palate. Medium-bodied, lightly honeyed and balanced. Blend of pinot noir, pinot meunier and chardonnay. Around 7g/L dosage. Tasted from magnum. Drink now.
