Opinión de los críticos
Fermented with natural yeasts and aged in 2,400-liter Doppelstück oak vats for at least ten months, the 2016 Rheingau Riesling Trocken opens with a slightly toasty and yeasty bouquet of perfectly ripe and healthy Riesling aromas but luckily no tropical fruit drops notes like in so many wines from the Rheingau. On the palate, this is a medium to full-bodied, very elegant, finessed and perfectly balanced Riesling with a firm structure and a long, aromatic but also salty-mineral finish. This is impressive quality at this price point and surely one of the most characterful Rheingau Rieslings without more detailed information about its origin. Tasted in November. Release date: December 2017. - Stephan Reinhardt.
