"The NV Oloroso Almirante has also been revamped, put in a Bordeaux bottle and classified as 15 years of age. It has textbook hazelnut, toffee and candied apricot aromas and an intense palate, a fine and elegant Oloroso. As with all these NV solera wines that do not have a clear bottling date or saca, it's difficult to give a drinking window. In any case, it's a wine that keeps well in bottle for a long time, as it's fortified to 18.5% alcohol and tends to become subtler and more integrated as time passes."
