The one and only wine produced here is the NV Palo Cortado de la Cruz de 1767, from a solera that started with old casks and young wine purchased in Chipiona. The wine has been aged in the solera and criaderas dynamic system, mixing younger wine every year. It has a light mahogany color and a nose that mixes hazelnuts with varnish and spices, quite marked by oak, still youthful with notes of orange peel but already developing some complexity. It's a lighter style of Palo Cortado. The palate is soft, but it has good structure, like an Oloroso of unusual finesse; but the notes of oak make a comeback here too, and as the wine sat in the glass, the oak seemed to grow and finally took over most of the character of the wine. 6,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in October 2018, even if the bottling date is not obvious, but the back label has a code that states the year (18) and the number of the day in that year when it was bottled (299, for example).
