Valenciso Graciano 2019
Descripción
La Graciano apenas representa el 2% del viñedo riojano. Sin embargo, es una de las variedades con mayor arraigo. Valenciso la trata con mucho mimo en un monovarietal fermentado en depósito de cemento y con crianza en barrica. Se expresa muy aromático, con notas de frutos rojos y negros, con apuntes especiados y un paso por boca en el que la acidez bien integrada es la protagonista.

The lively 2019 Graciano wants to showcase the naked variety with high natural acidity with the balsamic character amplified by the use of Caucasian oak barrels for the élevage. It has 13% alcohol in a warm and dry year when the grapes ripened properly and kept a pH of 3.21 and 7.2 grams of acidity. It fermented with indigenous yeasts in concrete vats and matured in oak barrels for 16 months. Only 2,800 bottles were filled in September 2021.
"Graciano has its fans," says Luis Valentín and this wine could add a few more of them. Built on a foundation of acidity and tannin, it's peppery and intense with lots of damson and blackberry fruit, perfumed oak and the shuddering grip that's typical of the variety. 2024-31
