Fresh and dry with notes of raspberries, pink grapefruit, cherry stones and lemons. Medium-bodied, with a crisp, clean and clear palate, and a fine mousse. 40% chardonnay, 40% pinot noir and 20% meunier. Base vintage 2019. Disgorged 2023. 7g/L dosage. Drink now.
Based on the 2019 vintage with 20% reserve wines, the NV Brut Rosé Cuvée Royale is a blend of 40% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir and 20% Pinot Meunier with a dosage of seven grams per liter. It possesses aromas of strawberry, blood orange and pear. Light to medium-bodied, the palate is elegant and tense, fresh and minty with lots of red berry scents and much more charm than last year.
Vanilla shortbread seems seductive on the nose. Slender but fine palate majors on the lemon, spice, and hints of honey in a soothing and gentle fashion. Lovely aperitif.
