The golden NV Titillum Original was produced with a blend of 55% Chardonnay and 45% Pinot Noir from Leyda, in the case of the bottle I tasted, mostly from 2017 with 15% from 2016 and 5% from 2005; but as with a lot of non-vintage wines from Chile, there is no indication of this on the label and, therefore, it's impossible to identify it as such. The grapes fermented separately in stainless steel with a small portion fermented and matured in barrel. It didn't go through malolactic and refermented and aged in bottle with the lees for 28 months. It has some five grams of sugar and comes through as balanced, dry by the high acidity and with clean flavors and aromas and a vibrant and refreshing palate. The bubbles are abundant but small. 8,660 bottles produced.
A flavorful, medium-bodied sparkling with aromas of peach, dried raspberry, hazelnut and pastry. Bright acidity, creamy bubbles and a saline, lightly honeyed and toasted finish. Chardonnay and pinot noir.
