Opinión de los críticos
In Cuvée Las Santas, Pedro Leunda and Jon Aseginolaza have made an ethereal wine from their most northern and coolest vineyards in the Valdizarbe area of Navarra, close to Pamplona. This Garnacha reflects its origins of small plots of old bush vines at more than 600m. Indigenous yeasts are used during fermentation in stainless steel and the wine is aged in French oak for 11 months. It is velvety, seductive, and a little exotic with a touch of mint and attractive herbal notes. It finishes with a flinty, stony note from the limestone soils. Only 1,374 bottles made. Devine! 2024-27
The floral, elegant and perfumed 2021 Cuvée Las Santas was produced with Garnacha from centenary micro plots in their coolest terroirs in the villages of Arellano, Dicastillo and Beláscoain, and it fermented with 50% full clusters, given the good ripeness of the year. It has finesse and length but also good structure, 14% alcohol and great freshness and acidity (pH 3.39 and 6.3 grams of acidity), very fine tannins and great elegance. 1,374 numbered bottled were filled in June 2023 after 11 months in used French oak barrels.

Fantástico, nueva versión de la garnacha. Elegante, intenso y mineral.
