Descripción
El tinto más exclusivo de la bodega elaborado con Tempranillo y un pequeño porcentaje de Viura que aporta frescor. Su crianza en barricas aporta intensidad, estructura y suaviza los taninos. El resultado es una referencia deliciosa que refleja a la perfección el potencial vinícola de esta zona riojana.

The 2016 Valdinero is a limited release, with only 585 bottles. It is redolent of cinnamon, cocoa, soya sauce, decayed violets and macerated berries, aromatic, heady and showy. It was selected from zones in Haro and Villalba de Rioja, looking for good ripeness and altitudes higher than 600 meters above sea level to get freshness. It's comes from 60+-year-old Tempranillo that fermented in concrete with indigenous yeasts and matured in the barrels previously used for the white Suañé for 16 months. It's quite ripe, hitting 15% alcohol, and has a round and lush palate with ripe tannins and a dry finish with persistent and clean flavors and a faint warm touch.
