Opinión de los críticos
The eponymous 2022 Coto de Gomariz was produced with a blend of 70% Treixadura and the rest Godello, Albariño and Loureira from different plots in the village with different soils. The grapes fermented separately, with the wine from their O Figueiral Vineyard, and fermented and matured in 500- and 600-liter oak barrels. It has a good 13.5% alcohol, cropped from a dry and warm year. It's a little closed, shy and serious, balanced and elegant rather than loud and in your face. The palate is lively, with clean flavors, precise and focused, with a tasty finish. 30,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in August 2023.
This has some tropical notes with dried mangoes woven in with pineapple. The palate is medium- to full-bodied with plenty of tropical character, volume and savoriness. 70% treixadura, the remaining 30% made up of albarino and godello. Drink now or hold.
